Hey well Ive been playing on your server and Its been the funnest gaming ive ever had ive been playing with awesome squad leades such as toanatos, so I decided to try and join, Im usually on every day, I use the assault kit and I am always in front of the line healing squad members and making sure they have all the health they need to fihght, and I love to use teamwork, I really enjoy playing, the game especially on tg, anyways how do I try out, join? I read somthing about having to pay to join regulars and not having to pay for irregulars? well I cant pay right now maybe later on i would. Any more iformation plz?

this isn't a typical 'clan'. Its a gaming community. At the top of all the forums, there are 'MUST READ FIRST' posts. You need to read them if you haven't. In the main forum there are much of the same, make sure you reead everything.

As for wearing the coveted |TG| tag, as far as I know, anyone can wear it as long as you follow the TG code - team play is essential, and act professionally. Someone of more experience would be better suited to clarify that one.

You'll see some folks with a 'Supporting Member' underneath their names. That is just someone who has paid to help keep the servers alive. If you're interested, there are subscription instruction in your User CP at the bottom left under member subscriptions... or something along those lines.

Welcome Deceased! I'm glad that you've been enjoying the TG servers.

FYI we aren't a clan. TG is a community of like minded players that like to play in a mature environment. We have several clans that play on the TG servers as well. Here is a link to the FAQ that elaborates on the community vs. clan: http://www.tacticalgamer.com/faq.php...community_clan

I believe that you are also talking about the in-house squads. TG supports several in-house squads that are groups of players that want to take the game to the next level. All of the in-house squads require you to be a supporting member (ie "pay") with the exception of the Irregulars.

The only requirement for the Irregs is that you read and abide by the Server Rules and SOP's and stay at least somewhat active in the forums and on the game servers.

Also make sure that you have read all of the server rules and SOP's. They will probably answer your questions before you know to ask them.

Welcome to the forums Deceased! Thanks for the kudos.

As Wimpinator and chaf3d said, the most important thing about 'membership' at TG is to read the Rules and SOP's, become familiar with them and play by them. Judging by your post here, I don't think you should have any trouble with them, they will be second nature to you.

If you want to use the |TG| tag in-game, you can put it in the space for your clan tag. Make sure you use the 'bar' character, and not brackets or anything. The bar characters won't show up while you're typing them in but they will be there in the game.

A note on Supporting Memberships - people who choose to contribute to the community to help pay for server costs etc., are called Supporting Members. You do get certain perks for shelling out your hard-earned cash so check around on the site for more information.
