    i would think as a tester we would have to play a certain amount of time or something and that it would be frustrating because the game is so buggy.

    Yeah, it will be buggy at times. Most betas are. But it's also fun having direct contact with devs and being able to give them feedback. Plus since the testing is going on ranked servers, you get to keep the points you've earned through the beta test.

    That's cool. I'm still trying to figure out how TeamSpeak works, could someone break it down really simply? I know, sounds stupid, but I never understood how it works.

    I'm looking at the TS website, and I suppose I'll download it. It's free for me, right? I ask because it's the same reason I'm not an SM, I don't have the money or a steady source of income. Also, you kind of need TS to be a tester for Northern Strike, as they interview you over TS.
