Re: 2142 Gentleman's Agreement

ive been pretty good about it. but i will fully admit that it is a hard habit to break. when i find myself doing it (pretty rare now) I stop where i am and take my punishment (let the dude kill me).

Re: 2142 Gentleman's Agreement

This all looks good except for the point about vertical capturing of undefended enemy flags with the Air Transport. Since 2142 made it possible to cap from a transport, it seems like this shouldn't be disallowed. However, it's very hard to avoid getting shot down if you do this, so it's usually not wise. Since the transport acts as a spawn point, though, it does give your entire team a chance to spawn there and give you backup. I personally will cap empty silos with the transport, but then as soon as I get somebody on the ground to back me up I'll move back out and orbit the point from a safe distance. It's also not a good idea to cap this way unless you KNOW you'll be getting backup, because otherwise as soon as you neutralize the point the enemy will get it back (Which, as we all know, will result in an anti-titan missile being fired). But sometimes I cap this way anyway, because let's be honest, an Air Transport pilot who actually knows what they're doing can do far more good to a team than they get points credit for - only real things to pray for are people executing intelligent titan drops or driver kill assists. Some might make the argument, "well then, stop whoring the transports and do some ground pounding," to which I say, I would if the other people who grabbed the transports didn't just kamikaze them at the enemy titan and then jump out right as I'm in the middle of shooting at an enemy with the side guns (etc).

Re: 2142 Gentleman's Agreement

A bunny/prone hop is when you jump then immedaitely go prone, so you're flying through the air laying down in prone position to reduce your visible area, I beleive.

Oh, and signed
