Thought of this when talking in the AAR forum.

Killing enemy hidden from your LOS on Berlin: 3 rounds
Seeing if you set your range right in zoom mode: 1 round
Wasting a full jeep and the rest of the squad running after it: 6 rounds

Finally knifing the sniper who caused you to go 0 and 9 until then: priceless

There are some things in 2142 that sheer munition spammage simply can't buy. For everything else, there's rockets.
