Thanks to all the DI's for taking the time to hold a class. I had a great time, and look forward to the next one.

Re: Feb 16th TGU session aftermath

Thanks guys for running the session. I was getting antsy at the end, but that was mainly b/c I was getting very hungry.

Also, one further note to what DragonKinjite said about flanking in fireteams and having the flank and main elements form an "L" shape: Chesty Puller also used an "L" shaped attack using two teams in an ambush tactic where the "assault" element spread wide over the short stub of the L while the ambush element with machine guns was at the tip of the long stub. The assault element would surprise the enemy in such a way as to induce panic and running and drive the enemy into the kill zone of the ambush element where the assault element would then close off a retreat from the area, while the ambush element would cut off any other avenues simply by cutting down the enemy as they ran into the kill zone. A very effective way to wipe out an enemy force (generally done when they're not alert and prone to choose the flight reflex over the fight reflex....like towards dawn when most of them are still asleep).

I can't add anything new but I do want say thanks for taking your time to do this. There are a lot of clans / groups were no one is willing to do this.

That was a very informative session.

I wish I could have listened in on the rest of the SL session after that 5 minute break. What did I actually miss?
