2 Mice (Mouses)
Since apparently I love to waste money on computer stuff. I now have 2 Mice going. My girlfriend wanted a cordless mouse. When I installed the new I discovered it was very sensitive and too sensitive for BF. So I got hit with a brillant idea. Keep both mice. I can just reach over and grab the high sensitive when I get in turret and switch back to the other one when I jump out. It worked pretty well tonight. I also bought a Z Board because the 2142 Key Set was on sale for like 15 Bucks, its taken sometime to retrain my fingers but seems to better than the regular keyboard.
I invited everyone at the office to play Battlefield, but it was a rather one side match when I was the only who brought an assault rifle to work the next day :-)

Re: 2 Mice (Mouses)
Interesting idea, I solve that problem with a G5 Logitch Gaming Mouse, has 3 levels of sensativity. I use the highest one for turrets, middle one for vehicles, and lowest one for infantry. I also plan on getting either the Z Board or the G15 Keyboard can't decide which however. The Z Board is just for BF2142 right? Where as with the G15 I have 18 programmable keys for any game I play.

Re: 2 Mice (Mouses)
the z board is just for bf2142, but they make versions for most games. the advantage it has over the g15 is the butterfly wasd layout. it looks kind of sweet, but i have not tried it. i have the g11 keyboard since i dont really need the lcd readout. the keyboard seems solid and it has 18 x 3 programable keys. what you can map to a key is fairly complex. you can even map mouse movements.

Re: 2 Mice (Mouses)
I have the G15 and the G5 and they are a wonderful combo! i dont really use the "G" keys in 2142, but they would be really useful for things like WoW... The LCD is kinda cool... have the TS applet that lets me see who is talking, etc. and the BF 2142 readout is pretty sweet...

Re: 2 Mice (Mouses)
Okay, I will take that into consideration. Another thing that is making me attracted to either the G15 or G11 is them programmable keys! I play RavenShield hardcore with only comms, no voice over, so my keybinds are pretty messy of of right now. Time to clean up my keyboard!

Re: 2 Mice (Mouses)
If you want something similar to the Z board, but without getting a whole keyboard, get a Zboard Fang. Here's a link:

It's what I use, as my big meaty hands get cramped on the smaller G15 keyboard. The Fang's layouts get updated fairly regularily, or you can create your own layout.
Like I said, I use it and love it, especially the "butterfly" keys.

Re: 2 Mice (Mouses)
I solve the sensitivity problem by setting a different sensitivity for infantry and vehicle controls. It's built into the Battlefield engine.

Re: 2 Mice (Mouses)
If you want to try a zboard i'll sell you one cheap. Bought it used it once and its sat since....didn't like it all. I run a G15 now, and LOVE it.
On topic, I used to do the same..had a wireless mouse for web surfing - i liked the back and forth buttons better. I use a razer for gaming, but now just use the razer for everything.|TG|JackMac4
