Voss, and neg, you need to turn the symbol around if you're talking about less than 3 deaths. <3 means the number you die is LESS than.

Baur. It's a rifle, not a SMG, so keep it in single-shot mode.

I've been sticking to the Baur as I think it more effective over a greater range of distance when used by an experienced hand. I don't think I have reached that skill level, yet, though, so I usually switch back to the Voss by the end of the night, when I'm tired.

I wanted the medic half of the tree, so I bought the Voss right away. I can field upgrade to the Baur but hardly ever do so because I like the Voss. I seem to perform better with the Voss currently, but with all the talk about the Baur on the boards it will most likely be worth the time invested to learn the Baur well also eventually. Course, I've been working on the LMG in the support kit more these days.

I made a mistake. lol

Baur isn't that easy to use because I have to switch between full auto and single shot mode frequently(that can really kill you when you in a face-to-face situation). I am thinking about trying out Voss since you just leave it in full auto.

I don't find this a problem. Pop it into full auto when you're about to go around a corner. Keep it in single shot the rest of the time.

Baur, hands down. Two short burts at close/medium range will finish a target. Single shot at long range, usually. For some reason I'm accurate at very long distance with full autp and I have no idea why. I like the Voss, but I find myself reloading it more often than the Baur.

I hate the quick deviation on the voss, and the only time I find myself using it is when im bored, I've found myself getting more kills running around with a knife, then a Voss =P but thats me

Baur - Given your playing style, you get a handy 6 extra clips and I dont think people notice that, but what I do, is I tend to spray at the enemy in single shot sometimes at close-mid range, reloads a snap
When I started playing and I got my hands on a Baur, I knew it was the rifle I wanted to unlock first =P

Of course, I quickly realized who the Baur's enemy was, the Voss, but ah well
Im sticking to my side of the fence and staying with the Baur

After I tried the Voss, no matter how much I liked the Baur, Voss is just better in most situations.

bah! I used to like the voss but this recent patch NERFED it so hard I thought I would cry. I zipped around a corner to hose a guy I saw, and started pumping the lead into his chest, I kept pumping until he got a few into me and I died...with 3/4 of my mag emptied into him and he still had about a quarter health left in him....and he'd been not full up when I started shooting.

Sad thing? I didn't miss a single shot on him.

I went back to the baur and rocked like I had before. THAT they did not nerf.

I don't know if they actually nerfed the Voss, I think it's just not working. Seems like there's just some encounters where the thing is shooting blanks.

My favorite assault rifle is the SCAR 11. I know it is not one of the more popular models and that many players outright dislike it, but I find its usability at multiple ranges to be the perfect fit for my style of play. Unfortunately, I had a hard time switching between the Krylov FA-37 and SCAR 11 after each round and have decided to use the Voss as my primary assault weapon.

I was a hardcore Baur man before the unlock weekend, during which time I experienced a complete conversion. Now I use rockets for all long range encounters and find the Voss to be a perfect complement because of its' higher performance at short-medium ranges.

Why spend all of that time picking just the right shot from a Baur at medium-long range when a couple rockets will do the trick quicker?

I am a medic and with light armour/spints I prefer the longer range of the Baur. It enables you to avoid a close range confrontation with those accursed Voss merchants (esp with low armour) to put down enemies around your revive target before sprinting in, thus negating the light armour combat disadvantages.

On Cerebere the other day I took down 2 Voss-guys at 60-70m in a gun duel (and the third legged it :-). Default rifles (esp Krylov) are still easier to control, and Baur has annoyingly small clip - I've worn out my 'R' button.
