I prefer the voss over the Baur because of its large clip and low recoil. Not to mention I can't aim for my life.

I am almost positive I will prove you wrong. All the time people try to kill me with the Baur at even 20 meters, but when I have that Morretti, you're screwed

If I am on the PAC: Krylov, period.

If I am on the EU then it'll be the Voss, or the SCAR 12 if I can find one amoung the dead. The 12 may be big but I like it!

It is great for sniping, but only under certain conditions. If your NOT where the rest of your team/squad is and you hit them with a round or two on single shot, most people hide for cover in the wrong direction aka perfect shot for you. At least that's how I get most of my Baur snipe kills, but I've never got a TG member doing that I don't think.

That happened to me once and I was looking at the gun so much I died before I got to shoot it. I think it is the best buy gun. I was told that if you bought your copy from best buy there was a different skin on one of the guns or something.

Voss for any close - med range situations, Baur for everything else.

I don't mind the smaller clips of the Baur (used to playing engineer and reloading those SMGs constantly) but the RoF is the real pain when it comes to CQC.

I think you had to preorder the game from Best Buy, but I may be wrong. I heard the Best Buy gun took up a large chunk of real estate on your screen...

Well, when I first got a taste of the Baur (using an unlock mod) I didn't like it. I thought the Voss blew it out of the water. This was mostly due to my inexperience in the game and always finding myself charging a flag and being close quarters with the enemy.

I started to read the posts on here and in the 9th forums about how the Baur was a gem to have mid to long range. I didn't pay it much mind and stuck to the stock AR or the Voss. However, a few months back I saw someone just wracking up the kills with the Baur, single shot, pretty long range. So with the recent free unlock weekend, I decided to put in some serious time with the Baur.

I first played 20 - 30 rounds in singleplayer to get a good feel with it, then took it over to the conquest sever. I must admit, I was wrong about the Baur. I have fallen in love with this gun when I know I'll be sitting back defending a flag or not really doing a lot of moving. I have actually found myself picking Assault with the Baur over Support with the Ganz when I know we will defend an entire round.

However, nothing except the Clark can touch the Voss close range. Assuming the person with the clark can aim.

So, to end this rather long winded post, I can't say I have a favorite. I know that each weapon has it's uses and situations. But if I had to choose, I'd have to do with the gun I feel the most comfortable with which would be the Voss.

Baur, because I loved the G3 while I played bf2 modded on LANs with some buddies of mine. As wooley I unlocked it first and get screwed over by voss users, after getting some more playing hours (and adjusting my accuracy) I went back to the baur and I will stick to it for the next 10h (medic gold), after that I will mainly play support aiming on support gold, but the baur will be my one and only AR. Krylov is surely nice but I hate the PK/defi switch which screws with my mouse key settings.

All you guys with your Baur talk made me give it another try and I began to like it! The small clip is fine sicne I always find myself left with 10-17 Voss Clips and need to reload before the next fight.

There are 2 rules for the Baur:

- Do NOT fire more than 2 Shots in a row unless the enemy is 1 meter away
- Do NOT try going prone in action - even if the enemy is just 1 meter away

PAH! I love the baur. It was my first AR unlock.

And I found that I CAN go prone with it (I even defeated an attempted knifer with it while I was prone, and the weapon in semi-auto)....one just has to be very alert, and have good cover....or be among the trains on camp gibby .
