I gotta ask
Ok, so im not quite sure about the round, I cant recall every single moment but
Im just asking, if this is what you guys are looking for
It was on Sidi power plant, and for the whole round, I sat my ass down in a transport, bringing the squad to flags and such, getting shot down, at the end of the round we won, but my K/D ratio (which Im trying to pride most on, and my points which I didnt get much of; were low that round) was low, and as said, points were'nt much, but im going to guess because I 'DID' do that, it helped us win.
Now this might sound wierd but, I dont like joining things unless I feel welcomed or 'invited', which is why I refuse to simply put on a TG tag as you guys let people at thier will do so.
Would this be grounds for accepted applications for joining?

Re: I gotta ask
What do you mean by "applications for joining"? We have no application process. If you are of like mind with us, then you're very much welcome whether you wear the TG tag or not. It's just that the choice to wear the TG tag also comes with the responsibility of upholding the TG name while wearing it.
I'm having a bit of a problem understanding what you're asking, but it seems that you like the teamplay we have and share much of the same mindset. Sounds TG to me.
The reason we don't do applications and whatnot is b/c its you who needs to decide whether or not you agree with us. If you do, great! Welcome to TG, whether you decide to wear the tag or not. TG isn't about wearing the tag, it's about HOW you play and how you interact with others in the game.
Edit: btw, I've seen you in the server quite a bit these days, so I'm glad you've been playing there and apparently enjoying yourself.
The nice thing with the TG tag, though, is that its a way that we can identify you as TG-minded even if one of us personally hasn't gotten to know you and KNOW you're a tg-minded player. You'll have to be around for quite a while before you can get known as TG minded even if you don't wear the tag (example is Lyramion. he doesn't wear the tag but he's been around long enough for us all to know him on the server as being TG to the core....TG tagged or not).|TG-Irr|Hiram_Yorik

Heh, thats all I wanted to hear, is a welcome from a member
what Im trying to say in short is, I dont like doing something unless it 'starts'
I wouldnt want to join unless, as I said felt 'welcomed'

Sometimes you need to take the first step and see what happens.
Until now I just thought you were a pubby regular. Hopping on the forums and getting involved is a pretty solid way of telling us that you don't just like our server, but are of like mind with us.|TG-Irr|Hiram_Yorik

Re: I gotta ask
Welcome, make sure you read over the Rules and SOPs. If you abide by those, then no one will have a problem with you wearing a TG tag. This place is a haven in the world of FPS players. I am glad you made it and cant wait to kill you!

Re: I gotta ask
Hey there Kitteh, weren't you the commander on Sidi yesterday? I was in there too (squad leading) but had too leave after the first round (the one we lost). I just post this cause I just started playing on the TG server too and stuff, so I thought I'd say hi and maybe I'll see you again sometime

Re: I gotta ask
I think I was in the squad you were airlifting. I had a good time in that squad. Welcome! Be sure to check out the Rules and SOPs. A good point you brought up. On this server following orders and teamwork is more important then points.
Also check out this gentlemans agreement.

Re: I gotta ask
Welcome to TG Kitteh! Try posting and saying 'hi' in the stickied New Members thread in the forums. Whether you choose to wear the TG tags or not, see you in the server

Great job on taking the role of ferry driver for the team - this kind of mentality is part of what makes it so great to play here. We're not out to boost our stats, we're out to ensure the team wins. If you can provide additional mobility and flexibility to your team by flying the transport, or go recon just to spot targets without regard to your K
or SPM, or...the list goes on.
You will honestly have a very hard time playing anywhere other than TG from this point on!

Kitteh knifed me and shot me in the face with a pilum (on foot) both in the same round. =D

Re: I gotta ask
Let's not go too overboard on the self sacrifice for the team here, though. We want people to have fun as well, as long as you are sticking to the SOP's.

Re: I gotta ask
I don't consider it a sacrifice to help the team. I personally take pleasure in doing the little things that, while often unnoticed, go a long way toward helping the team achieve its objectives.

Re: I gotta ask
Me too except for more selfish reasons. I really like to have a good winning percentage because to me that is the most important stat. If you have a good winning percentage you must be doing something to help the team. Unless you are cheap and you switch to the winning side.
