    voss nerfed in patch?

    perhaps it just me, but it seems my voss is not working right since the patch. Normaly, I can tweak kills pretty well. Not the best gun out there, but in my experience, im pretty solid. Since the patch, I can't seem to kill with voss nearly as quickly. I know talking over voip, a few others felt something was going on.

    several times i have unloaded what seemed to be more than enough to kill into a target. and they were only at half health. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

    Yaaay I'm not the only one...I unloaded on two medics trying to revive a guy and the guy they revived shot me and killed me and none of the died

    Even if you hate the voss, it's pathetic that they nerfed it. Just like Sierra nerfed the MP5 in later releases of the original CS, this has all of us who like to use the voss for CQB pissed all to hell.

    The Voss was a balanced gun as it originally was. This nerfing has made it totally useless. The baur in good hands still was no match for the voss in CQB when used in the same skilled hands. Just like the converse was true in longer range combat concerning the baur. now the baur rules all in comparison to the two. Better now to use the krylov or the scar11 in CQB than the voss.

    Don't get me wrong, I love the baur and am very good with it. Its just that I also loved the voss in the right situations and now I'm pissed off that its not worth using anymore.

    are we sure it was nerfed? it "feels" nerfed, but I could just be having an off night with it.

    no, it's nerfed. no way it couldn't be since we're ALL having problems with it and not ALL of us could be having a bad day.

    I had an absolutely rocking night with it this evening. Noticed nothing different.. except for that it had four rockets per clip? ;]

    I think the lambert does less damage as well, but I'm not sure, haven't been usiong it for a lot of time, but when I used it today, it felt like something was up with it and a few ppl who I know that they use the labert often said the same :S :?

    ok here is my take after using the baur tonight. I think something is up with hit detection in general.

    Well I think it was nerfed seeing how a couple of minutes ago I charged somebody with a knife they unloaded a clip on me(from how close I think 90%of the rounds hit me) took about half my health and I still got the tags...

    I dont know last night was sorta bad anyway - get yelled at for NOT taking the walker to church flag when we were 10 tickets behind and the only other flag the enemy had was commando center on cerbere.

    Then I got yelled at again on cerbere for "doing jack **** for helping the squad" when your SL put his beacon always into the hell of a place where you just died 10 times without beeing able to do anything.

    Then on sidi at the start of the round our SL decided to use the dropship to offices and landed far away from the flag so we couldnt make it to offices in time to lay down motion mines. Sure did 2 angry PACs come and quickly kill off our squad.


    Well just random rants... but maybe last night was bad karma for a few ,)
