After an absolutely PATHETIC (Only 1 squad even CLOSE to following orders, my commander screen bugging and showing no squads, etc) and loooong Suez Canal round... I get the last point-rank.

Remember in BF2, it used to tell everyone when you were promoted? That was kinda cool. I'm sure with the number of promotions in BF2142, promotion announcements would just spam the info line, though.

Nah. It's really easy to get it. PROTIP: Medal/ribbon/badge it up. Find your reqs, meet em, collect points, laugh.

Yep, that's true. Once you get some silver/gold badges and some of those nice ribbons you will rush through the ranks (I just got one 2000 point ribbon, and I advanced in rank one time and almost another time) Originally Posted by Urit

there are 2 2000 ponts ribbons. Damn Meritorious Squad was a bit tricky to get.

And there's more than 2 2000pters. I think most of the commander ribbons are 2000pointers, plus yeah, I mostly got it on badges. Plus I've been hit with the awards bug repeatedly. 4 Legion of Merits in a row does something for your score...
