Putting the Infantry Scanner on the Drone
Putting the infantry scanner on the drone didnt work for me. Yes it hung around on the drone but it did nothing. So I put one on the wall and it worked. Did this change recently or am I missing something?

CylonI invited everyone at the office to play Battlefield, but it was a rather one side match when I was the only who brought an assault rifle to work the next day :-)

I don't know about everyone else, but this sounds like something similar that happens to me: when I deploy the IDS, sometimes I won't see the scanning wave and red dots that should go with it (though my teammates have reported being able to see them), so I have to constantly pick it up and set it until it works for me.
It does work on a drone, as I've done it before, but the Otus' range is already better than the IDS, and having a recon in the squad will give a similar effect.

its kind of buggy. I have heard that if you jump when you throw it, it wont work. i have had it deployed and not work for me before under several different circumstances. it seems to not work for me about 10-15 % of the time.

I use it, it only works if it has nothing above it or it is facing directy up it is weird

well it works for me... BUT not always... so i just take it back and deploy it again

The PDS and the IDS both have the same bug where sometimes when you put it down, it doesn't work. Just pick it up and put it down again (repeating if necessary). It'll eventually work.

I don't know HOW the hell they broke the entire drone spawning mechanics fixing 1 bug (drone surfing). All they needed to do was extend the whirling blades of death zone up about 4 inches so if you stood on it your feet got chopped up. Disable the choppage if it gets emped of course. You can STAND on it, but as soon as it fires back up, no feet for you.

I'm assuming they were trying to do something like that in the first place; make them explode and kill anyone that tried to stand on it.
