Yeah its so irronical to have a game that doesnt support dual core technology to advertise dual cores!

There's another one that says Stay cool in the heat of battle or something, but I didn't catch much of it.

Tearing structurally-superfluous new behinds with high caliber weapons since 2006.

it doesn't support dual cores?...who said that? i saw a DEFINITE increase in performance versus my p4 3.0 to my new 2.13 dual core.

Phew, I thought it was really wierd that I was suddenly seeing all of these billboards. I was thinking it might have been because I created a new copy of my profile - guess not.
Only problems I have with these billboards are that they look so out of place. Almost ruins the 'mood'

you know for all the complaints people gave about having bilboards in the game, i havnt heard any since its been out. Guess people just over reacted like normal....

Those Core Duo ads seem like they are on every board. Also the NS maps seem to be littered with boards. Much more noticeable.

Re: New In Game Billboards
Has anyone seen a billboard that is not an Intel ad?
As for the dual-core versus P4 thing, even without SSE or any of that crap, even a single core2 core is quite a bit faster than a P4 (HT or no HT).

Not to mention the potential in increase if the dam BF engine supported the full dual core tech .)

Re: New In Game Billboards
the engine came before dual cores though so i don't think theres anything they can do to include it now.

Re: New In Game Billboards
Zid, the P4 was a monumental screw up on Intel's part. A P3 at the same clock speed is faster than a P4. *shrug*.
But besides that, just because a game does not use the dual core, intrinsically, does not mean that OTHER processes in the computer will not use the second core, leaving the 1st core to run the game unhindered.
