Re: -28! Liberation of Liepzig
It strange it's the exact same temp in the other 2 NS maps as well.

Re: -28! Liberation of Liepzig
For an ice age, -28C is not very cold. Well, depending on the geographical locations I guess. It's colder then that up here in Canada.

Re: -28! Liberation of Liepzig
Coldest recorded temperature in Liepzig stands at -25.1 C (around -13 F). Question is... when is the "Liberation of Liepzig" taking place?
In any case, -25.1 C is the record. If its the norm in BF2142... then yeah. That's cold.

Re: -28! Liberation of Liepzig
Well that's cold.
Although we've had -20 F temperatures in Chicago winters in the past. So I don't think it's that suprising, but perhaps it is for Leipzig.
If you read the storyline summary for the map, you'll realize it takes place roughly 1 year after the EU was pushed back to Africa. So I'm guessing possibly late 2143 or somethere early to mid-2144.Acreo Aeneas

Well seeing how they're are technically in the third ice age (if you count the minor one so many years ago), does it matter?

Re: -28! Liberation of Liepzig
I guess it doesn't matter, but that was the whole point of the thread, the freaking freezing temperatures.
Makes me wonder how they manage to keep the soldiers warm. Are they even human in the future?Acreo Aeneas

Re: -28! Liberation of Liepzig
Yeah, it's cool, I saw it too
It certainly will be no fun to be in a speeder with that temparature, I mean you freeze to death in that thing! Now take a Goliath or APC, they probably will have proper heating systems in there...

Re: -28! Liberation of Liepzig
Imagine the wind chill when your cruising at 60 mph at that temperature for the gunner in the speeder.
