Re: My apologies to my friendly fire victims

My apologies for last night's TKs! I was having one of those "off" nights where things just didn't go well overall. On one particular match battling in Berlin, I think I TKed about ten people or so with the APC mortars. Although I took about double that in enemy bodies with me, I still felt bad about it.

Also that errant grenade on Verdun.

That happens to me all the time. Why anyone would rush into a cluster of enemies in the first place is beyond me. To do so when they can see rocket trails coming in from the side is just freaking stupid.

This happens a lot with grenades, APC and tank fire also. I find it confusing how 4 or more enemies appear on the UAV and some team mate decides they can single-handedly take them out with their rifle / pistol / knife. Why people don't lead into those confrontations with grenades is beyond me. I often have to tell my squad members to hold back and throw grenades. I know Arf has the same issue, since I hear him say it all the time.

That's one of the places - statue to ruins is another, but I was actually thinking about the Shuhia Taiba map (hate that map)..

Well...I have a bad habit of leading from the front. And when I'm in your squad Bomb, I have to restrain myself. I admit I usually rely on my superior ping to extract myself from those..*ahem*....RARE situations when my brain has decided to disengage and turn over thinking to the trigger finger.
I will admit to standing off and rocketing them to death, but grenades are to chancy. I rarely have a grenade land where I want it to. I tend to only use them if I have a good backstop or a room to chuck them into. For example, if I am running towards a hallway under a 2 story building; I'll throw one up over the balcony and charge for the stairs. Hopefully they are so distracted by the grenade, I can sneak up on them.

I do the same thing. I am pretty sure I am like Rambo and can take out the whole team single handedly.
