Re: Drone Surfing
No no no! you have to take 2 steps backward, then fire 2 shots from your pistol, knife kill Bommando, then you can use your drone without worry.
Heh, I heard about 7 different ways to to make a drone not explodeThe soldier formerly known as, Eroak.

From the TG Primer: 2) Create an environment where there is
mutual respect for your fellow gamers and where all members
would be working together to advance the enjoyment of their hobby.

Re: Drone Surfing
Yeah my drones now bang me in the head and I commit suicide serverwise.. Good fix against exploiting the drone but I usually run away when I deploy the drone from it breaking my helmet lol

Re: Drone Surfing
What I do know is that the exploding drone usually has something to do with the Terrain you are on. Beeing on the maps Ground Terrain usually makes it work while beeing on or in some object like the Upper Base in Cerbere Landing will blow it up always.

Re: Drone Surfing
If you look up at the sky while you deploy the drone it will work fine. Since I have been doing that I have not had it blow up a single time no matter where I am.
