He got the detail of being fully zoomed in, whilst being able to see the whole map...which usually only gives a blueprint-like overview and coloured dots, like Naith said. Oh, and nametags to boot XD You can pick off the names of people not listening then lol.

As to how it probably happened, when you're in command mode the mouse wheel zooms in/out.

Zoom doesn't show tags ever. And only shows buildings on full zoom where you wouldn't be able to see the entire map, although Siege could. It was a glitch, but I don't know how...

Also the mouse wheel seems to zoom in on one location only on the map, ignoring where you are currently looking at, it could be on the other side of the map entirely, so isn't useful to me. It might be the first place you zoom in or it could be random I don't know.

you didn't really miss it. we just loaded it on our server and checked it out. it's really pretty huge though. it'd need 64 people to play it well. each side even has a transport (though the fog is thick so it'd be hard to rofl)
