Thanks to TG 7th

Just wanted to give props to the 7th, played on a squad with them last night for the first time and I had a great time. I have been bouncing around from server to server looking for a great place for squad play and it looks like I have found a home at TG. I appreciate you guys letting me hang with you last night, you really taught me a lot about squad play and I look forward to playing with you guys in the future, hope I didn't slow you down too much!!

I am going to take the time to read all about TG today so I can become part of the family, wear the tags with pride and enjoy the community. It is nice to find a group of like minded people. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Another one enters the fold! Welcome in out of the cold. Hot damn, I made a rhyme.

Don't worry about skill; that will develop over time. The most important part of TG is teamwork.

Re: Thanks to TG 7th

That wasn't my squad, was it? The "7th's Ho"? There was enough 7th guys, so out I went to let Arf in. I understand, and I have no grievance. Anyway, glad to see you here man, I didn't expect to actually have to squad lead that round!

Re: Thanks to TG 7th

Not sure which group I was with last night. My first round was at Cerbre Landing and we went up sniper hill to the HQ and guarded from the bunker for most of the round, very well I must say!! Whomever was SL (sorry dont remember the names, still a bit shell shocked) did a great job in letting us as a squad know what we were supposed to be doing and the squad worked really well together. I have always wanted to experience good squad play ever sense I ran into orca's vids at squadplay.com and I am really glad I found your community and your servers. I have been on other servers and see "clans" squadded up, join them and get kicked becuase I don't know the secret handshake or something?? Thanks for letting me run with you guys last night!! I dont think it will be long before I am a contributing member as I believe in supporting the things I enjoy, just need to spend some time here and on the servers first to make sure its a good fit for you and for me. I have not been playing 2142 for very long and I never played BF2 either so the game is rather new to me although I have been playing shooters since wolfenstein so I am not a total noob and I look forward to learning with all of you. Thanks for the opportunity.

Re: Thanks to TG 7th

If you heard frequent mention of "Spanky", the worthless gun drone, then that would be Arf's squad.

Defending the Bunker on Cerbere sounds like my squad and I'm glad you had a good time, sometimes I can get abrasive. I'm working on that still.

Yea, unless it's Spanky who you trash talk constantly. He may not have been very quick on the draw or gotten many kills but he kept up with the squad leader.

Re: Thanks to TG 7th

Just wait until the next time you squad with the 7th, and VOIP is filled with entertaining bits such as:

"Use your bloody rockets people! That's why we have you guys on assault, use your rockets already!"

"Squad leader down. Can I get a revive? This is pathetic. Don't hump my corpse, get it the first time. Seriously, this is sad."

"Can I get a revive? Come on guys. Pick up my kit and revive me. Too late. Ugggghh."

"Oh damnit, why do people always run in front of my rockets? I almost got a team kill because some idiot ran right in front of them."

Im married so I am quite used to abrasive!!! And I am pretty sure I heard a few refrences to spanky the accipiter so thanks Arf and the rest of the squad for showing me how its done. Ill be back many times and I will tell my friend who got me hooked into this game to begin with. I am sure you will see us both soon. He goes by OpmindcrimeII and if you couldn't tell we are both huge Queensryche fans hence the names.

Re: Thanks to TG 7th

Welcome to TG! You're off to a great start by reading the Primer, Server Rules and SOP's. Check out the other games that TG offers as well. We have a very popular Project Reality server.
