Made the rank of general, and I still have five unlocks to obtain, granted, I can get all but the highest squad leader unlock in field unlocks, but is there a way to get more permanently?

With Badges, I picked up a 2500 plus point round today, and it all seems like a waste, if all my points dont do a thing to advance my profile.

You have to get northern strike to unlock the rest. It doesn't take too long and northern strike has some awesome vehicles and maps. Within an hour you will probably get 2 more unlocks and probably all 5 in under 10 hours.

Only problem is..no where to play NS, I've still got like 3 unlocks to obtain there.

I remember TG set up a NS server, but I rarely saw anyone on it. Most just play on the TG conquest server.

You may have to ask an admin about it for more specific information.

I have gotten two playing NS, can anybody tell me what awards are needed, or where I can find a link to find out.

Go to ea's main site for bf2142 battlefield.ea.com/battlefield/bf2142/default.aspx
log in where it asks for your ea user name and password, pick your soldier and under your profile you can look at the awards section which will tell you about the NS awards and what you have to do to obtain them. Most of them are pretty easy and you should be able to obtain most of the unlocks rather quickly. I find that I really enjoy the NS maps as well, especially Liberation at Lepizig (sp?). Hope this helps.
