Frosty Friday Redux

Some may call us fools or say the deep cold has impaired our better judgment, but the battle for survival still wages on in Bavaria, Leipzig, and Remagen. That’s right, the new week brings another installment of Frosty Friday!

So, if you were one of the many members that pushed and prodded for Northern Strike to be include in the Tactical Gamer arsenal, rekindle that passion and join us on the Dallas server. Grab a friend and show them just how much you enjoy this booster pack. Jump on the next transport out of Gibraltar and hit the frozen tundra!

Mittens will be issued at 10:00 PM EDT and the battle will continue until the snow melts!

Im in, Friday nights are great for me and my schedule and last Friday was a riot. I will have to see if my puffy white shirt comes in a thermal version though.

I might turn up this week, depending on if I go straight back to sleep when my alarm goes off...

Hmm, I'll see if I can make it. I might end up working a downtown art gallery for Looptopia, so I might be square.

That’s right, DaddyOfThree. If you want to show your support for the Northern Strike booster pack, come join us for the second installment of Frosty Friday. No more excuses about it being hosted on a lousy server, my friends!

Re: Frosty Friday Redux

I want to thank everyone that participated in this installment of Frosty Friday. The server decided to throw us a curveball and disabled communications for a few rounds, but that could have easily been the cold playing tricks on us. Though the reset to resolve this issue scared away a few players, the server quickly repopulated and many of us got to enjoy a solid two hours of frigid fun.

I think everyone would agree that not enough can be said about the fantastic performance of this new server. Its stability will hopefully lead to a resurgence of interest within the community about this booster pack. Frosty Friday will continue through the end of May, however, so join us next week and come show your support for Northern Strike.

The server is fantastic and I love the NS maps.

Special thanks to those in the 9th that let me hang out in their squad tonight. I had a great time.

Re: Frosty Friday Redux

Frosty Friday Redux was a lot of fun last night. I didn't get on until 8mst and I never saw the server totally full but it was close. There was a lot of non TG'ers at least not a lot that I recognized which I think is a good thing in that gives us more people that we can show what we are all about and grow our base.

Wanted to also say thanks to ChiefMedicMan for his great squadleading last night and thanks for getting my buddy OpMindcrimeII in the squad. Ive been telling him how awesome TG is and in speaking with him this morning he was very impressed yet a bit overwhelmed with how good the players are.

I would like to propose that we make Frosty Friday a permenent event for TG NS players. I would also love to see an orginized in house NS scrim if at all possible. I think a couple of rounds at Port Bavaria would be the shizzle. What do you guys think?

Again, thanks all for a great night last night.

I like the idea of a NS scrim, but I would prefer Liberation of Leipzig. I like that map. Or maybe both.
