Yeah, I tried "SPATW" server a couple of times, but i got very disappointed because SL didn't give orders and members went around on their own...maybe i was unlucky. I'll give it another try.

this is one of the best things about chief, a lot of people talk about kicking people from a squad for not following orders but, he is the only one I have actually seen do it. Always have a great time in his squad.

I've heard him threaten a few. "(insert random name here), if you don't start following orders you're going to get kicked" and my fvaorite, "(random name),I swear this is the last time I'm telling you to follow orders!!!"

Woot for the shotgun squad! Truly great fun there, Chief, Anospa, and I ran around Berlin with shotguns blasting people back to russia as the EU.
The best part was even with us three and maybe some others all as support we still had the second best squad (not sure if that is saying more about us or our team mates )

First and foremost - Chief, I just got done with solid hour or two of gaming in your squad, and my only regret is that a crash prevented me from saying a proper goodbye. That has had to have been the best, most communicative, most led (and WELL led, if you ask me) squad I have ever been in within 2142. Not to mention the server absolutely rocked.

This looks like an amazing community, and I am very tempted to join despite swearing off clans outside of MMOs some years ago. Chief, thank you for an absolutely fabulous time. Teamplay like that is what this game was meant for, and it is so much more fun with a good leader and a fun bunch of squaddies. Oh, and if you ever do need room for another TG and I'm not a member (still debating on whether to attempt joining), just let me know and I can leave to let them in.

And secondly, shotgun squad? That would be the most and least useful squad on the battlefield at the same time. It sure would be amusing. Could rock on urban maps with the right tactics. *chuckle*

Well IceFoxen we are not exactly a clan more of a community so it looks like you are in the clear. look into the irregulars if you want to get a 'fuller' experience, lots of personality there.

Anyhow, regardless, I am going to play on the server(s) for a bit before I join anything. Get settled in and get to know some people first. I had a blast though, and I'm impressed with this community. Heck, part of why I left gaming clans in general years ago was because I was disgusted with the lack of maturity and teamplay in a lot of them, and this community was founded out of a similar feeling? I like.

Anyhow, thanks Chief, great games, and I hope to play on your squad again soon.

The Irr door is always open, at least I'm pretty sure it is.

I can tell you one thing about this community, playing on any other server without some of these guys is a terrible experience. You feel half blind or too powerful. This is how the game was supposed to be played, and we've got some majorly skilled people here to play with/against. Good times to be had, especially in Chief's squads.

That is true. When I go to another server it just isn't fair, blasting people away left and right. It is fun but I prefer the teamwork and challenge here.

I was on the other team last night and you got me good with that shotgun of yours! Nice work. We lost several times but got a few as well.

Later on i was fortunate to join up with Exploding silver's squad on gibraltar. We managed to defend and even hold harbour. You guys lost bigtime. LOL

But have been in your squad as well Chief, and i remember winning big time. Cheers!

This is true. Even after longer than just a week of playing here I can join a random server and just dominate. The skill level on TG servers seems to be the best of the best. There aren't very many servers where you can turn a corner on any map and run into a full squad at anytime.

See, I feel bad because I never get to squad with you chief, but instead happen to be on the receiving end of your gun rather frequently. Granted, i'm sure this is a much more pleasurable experience for you (everyone seems to get some kind of twisted enjoyment out of killing me...im not sure why), but should I get the chance, i'd be happy to squad up with you. Thanks for the kind words man, we all appreciate it.
