Commander problem

Don't know if this would be the same for youl, but this caused mesome major grief when trying to command.

Alright let's see if we can trick this forum thing...

I think being a commander and that is the positions that your team is in, is a dream. Tactically if you can defend your flags, you hold strategic chokepoints. Depending on the situation at the time, you could even pull a few members from either flag to support one that is being heavily assaulted. If I was in that situation I would have a smile on my face. Thats if I was on the Blue team. Now on the red team well thats a completly different strategy all together.

yes this happened to me on Cebere landing about a week ago, don't know how it happened but it made commanding difficult

I think he's talking about the buggy map overview, not the strategic placement of his team.

This doesn't happen often. In fact, it's never happened to me. Chances are, it won't be like that next time you command. Or the next 40 times either for that matter.

It looks like the squads window is screwed up as well. 2 squads without SL's and 2 squads with only SL's.

Can't say this has ever happened to me.

Thats happened to me, just move your mouse over the squads and see what squads have squad leaders. Those are the squads you can communicate with. Sometimes you have to leave the command window to refresh it.

Also, the active squads have the little numbers on the right of the names highlighted, but In will admit that I think my squad window gets a little screwy sometimes. Like it'll list a squad as being just an SL, but when I roll over it, it shows a full squad.

And yeah, thhe problem was the zoomed in view, I just wouldn't be able to spot that round, and thanks Chief for taking command that round.

This happened to me once. I resigned from commanding it annoyed me so much.

Hmm, I've never ever had the minimap on my CO screen. System glitch?
