Joining an INHS squad question

I got on the TG server Sunday night, team I was assigned to was composed of three squads. A locked two man squad, the 9th with five men and the 3rd or 7th with 5 men. Would it have been ok to join one of the INHS squads? On public servers I usually do not join clan type squads unless invited, because I quickly find myself booted out. The only lonewolf time I have is because I was kicked out of a squad and did not realize it.

If the squad isn't locked and its not full, join up! This is the way they get to know you and potentially recruit you. Its how it worked for me. I played with the 9th a ton before they asked me to join them as a member.

See you on the battlefield!

First, and a minor point, the acronym is IHS short for In House Squads.

Second, if a squad is ever unlocked, you can join it. If they wanted it to be exclusive, they'd lock the squad. Feel free to join in.

Re: Joining an INHS squad question

I just push the join buttons of locked squads until they become unlocked. A lot of times I'm not fast enough but if I do get the chance to play in a squad lead by a member of the 3rd, 7th, 9th, or 21st it's well worth it.

Do you really want to be a part of the INHS?

I'm no Dr. but I have pretty clean teeth. Think that'll be good enough to get in?

Re: Joining an INHS squad question

like said above. if an ihs is locked. it is for a reason. most ihs start the game locked to send out invites to members and friends/recruits. then they typically are opened up. If they remain locked it is usually for good reason.

Re: Joining an INHS squad question

As others have said, if it is unlocked, it is welcomed - especially if you see an Irr squad, as we LOVE to work with people new to TG and help them learn the ropes of our community and the TG way!

If you are interested in joining an IHS and not just a temporary in-game squad that is being run by an IHS, consider the Irregulars!

We're a popular IHS to join for non-SMs (SM = Supporting Member, aka paying members), and we can help teach you the ropes of the game and get you accustomed to the TG experience. If you want more details, shoot me off a PM.

Good to know. I tend to steer clear of IHS squads for the same reason as Spiff. I dont want to interfere.

if you are paying to be a supporting member, you actually are getting far far more for your money.
For 90% of all the choice players are either in the 9th, 7th, or 3rd...or any other in-house squad. in-house squads always tend to be more tight with their tactics.
Granted, there are always exceptions to the rule!
