What must one do to use a |TG| tag?

I love the TG server. The tactics and maturity that are standard for every game have ruined all the other servers for me. I sit and wait for a spot to open on the TG server rather than play elsewhere.

I was referred to this site by a TG member who was my SL at the time. I have read everything and am greatly impressed, to the point of registering account, as you can see. From what I understood from the TG Primer being a member of the community is sufficient to warrant the use of a |TG| tag, but I want to make sure.

well, you have to be a member of the community and follow all the rules, but yes. that's "all" you need to wear a TG tag. Keep in mind that when you wear one that you generally are held to a higher standard.

Please note that wearing the tag guarantees you a greater chance of being targeted by my weapons if you are on the other team.

Right up to of this very own forum, there is a thread that is a FAQ to TG's BattleField 2142. Quick Link.

Please read this as this will awnser most of your questions about this server, including the rules to follow when you wear the |TG| tag. If you are found breaking any server rules while under the |TG| tag. Punishment is harsher.

Lyra is the one I watch out for in the walker. Unfortunately, past experience has taught me that Pablo can snipe accurately with rockets at 100 m -- but I really haven't seen him in the walker too much yet, so I'm sure I'll be watching out for him all around.

Yeah we have a little green troll sitting infront of teh Battlefield CC - kicking out nonsupporting members at the worst times!

You don't have to sign any gentleman's agreements to wear the TG tag... the links Eroak posted are a great starting point.

Wearing Tactical Gamer Tags is the most relevent post on the issue.

The tag means you understand the rules, you understand the principles of TG and they are principles that you support and uphold. Anybody can wear a |TG| tag, but we expect tagged players to serve as examples to the visitors to our servers, and provide good sportsmanship to others in the community.
