for the record, it's MUCH easier to stick strictly to the TG rules in the 6v6 (inf only usually... a few maps have buggies) than it is in the 8v8 (with all the vehicles). In the 8v8 you either jihad or you lose.

we play it straight. Basically if we would not do it on our public server or in a TG on TG match, we wont do it in a league match. We do not spawn camp. We dont camp ucbs or even cappable flags. I dont want to know the spawn points on other flags nor should our guys take it into consideration when trying to cap or set up a killzone.

When I am playing TG and I see a guy spawn in on an uncap, I give him a second or two to orient before I kill him (usually).
Sometimes in the heat of the moment, a target is a target and I forget to give them a moment. I try to do the same when playing in a league.

I don think we have any matches on vid.

Haven't done the 8v8, so really can't comment; though we had some people try jihading us on suez in bfcl, but we saw them coming and handled it easily. I imagine that could be more effective on other maps/better plays, though wouldn't feel comfortable with it personally.
I think it was before you joined the 3rd but in our very first BFCL match(on Minsk) our opponet used jihading very well against us. We still won the match but it was very annoying and I wasn't even in one of the two walkers. Because of a scheduling conflict we got to play them again but Sc1ence worked out a gentlemen's agreement not to jihad it was a much nicer match to say the least(except for one guy that complained we took his keys away).

I think you can download a vid of the 3rd vs the 7th to see a match from the BFCL. it's in the BFCL result thread.

our plan to break through minsk worked perfectly. we got the apc through and were all spawned in on it hauling to thier back base when we were jihaded. it took the better part of the round to break through again. bleed hurt us badly. we won the match, but I think we may have lost the first round. after that we did work out a gentleman's agreement to not jihad (or pod spin)

i think the 7th has most of our TGL matches on Battlerecorder as well, but we haven't posted those in public yet to my knowledge.

Anyone can still get them with a little bit of searching.

    Re: Welcome to TG

By the way, along with Fehmart, I'd be happy to play in BFCL for any team that wants me on their roster (other than the 3rd since they're odds on favorites). I probably will only be able to make a few games in the season due to real life and TGL priorities, but I figure I can probably be somewhat of an asset for any team that may need an extra guy or two.

    Re: Welcome to TG

As far as replays go, imagine this:

It's the third round of Gibralter. The first round we won but the second round we found ourselves unprepared for the enemy's near unbreakable defence of Central Camp. In the final 3 minutes of the round we've managed to force them out of the Central Camp onto Toll Booth. There we've performed our best but this time we haven't been able to get to the flag. It's now 6 to 14 with 45 seconds left and it's in their favor. Tybalt makes the call, the only way we can take those tickets fast enough is to establish bleed, that flag must be taken. The UAV goes up, we can see every red arrow pointing at that tiny hole in the wall and then we run through.

That was the most epic and heart breaking round we've ever played and it came down to 3 tickets in the final 14 seconds, you've got to download that replay is what I would be saying if there was such a thing but we don't have that one. The others are nice though.

It was one for the record books to say the least. We had our very look push by Crux up the West side of Toll back to Toll station. Managed to neutralize bleed very very quickly, think that was our saving point. You guys managed to get on the flag on Central once or twice, but somehow we pushed you off.

I recall it as 4-15 tickets with them in the lead. We only lost one ticket in that last push because someone dieing next to a ladder and being gibbed. Best gaming moment EVER for me.

    Re: Welcome to TG

I retold that story to some of the other team leaders and they were amazed. Come from behind from ten tickets down and a minute on the clock? Almost unheard of. It was just epic, absolutely epic.

We charged right into their teeth, wiped them, reestablished bleed and took the game. It has to be one of the best moments of the season. Nothing on e-rev.tv/EGLN comes even close to the final minute of that game.

It was basically the revive drill all the way to the Toll Station flag - plus some kills inbetween :] Not only would I kill to have that replay, but I'd love to hear their TS as well. They thought they had the hard fought match in the bag, but we hopped in there and snatched it right away.
