Re: Nostromo Loadout
I used the thumbpad for the movement controls of WASD. I used to have it setup like you guys do BUT when I was deployed I played a massive amount of Halo 2 and 3 while having no internet access(gotta love small scale LANs). My left thumb got very used to controlling movement so I swapped over my Nostromo controls.

Re: Nostromo Loadout
How is it for dependability? I've read some pretty bad reviews and I am absolutely fed up with buying cheap Made in China crap that breaks after two weeks.
Has Belkin ever got it to work with Vista?

Re: Nostromo Loadout
Dunno about Vista but my N50 is about, uhmmmm, a decade old and still works any time I get a hankering to plug it in. Of course it doesn't get the use my mice do and I've had 3 in that time. So your mileage may varry.

Re: Nostromo Loadout
It is incredibly reliable, I haven't had a single Nostromo break on me and I've upgraded several times.

Re: Nostromo Loadout
Love my n52, tho i am a cranky XP user that never upgraded to vista. I'm just returning to BF2142 and i had to reset my pad. I found myself using my old muscle menory for actions, and went back and altered the configuration to what my fingers remembered ;D

Re: Nostromo Loadout
it's true. my friends who come over usually don't know how much I play video games and when they see it they look at it askance.
that said, it's amazingly useful.
