I would be more than willing to give this mod the old TG try and I'd love to see it hosted at TG on a scheduled basis (assuming it's stable). Perhaps on the, umm, second server sometime .

Once this is released, the admins will look closely at it. the 3rd sfd will probably put it up on our practice server and unlock it for public play if we have nothing going on. if it looks like something TG would like, we will move forward from there depending on demand.

the novelty factor is very cool. what will determine it's success here at TG is the gameplay.

Thanks for the reply sc1ence - that answers a lot of my questions earlier in this thread.

Further, thanks for the heads up on the possibility of granting public access on the 3rd sfd's practice server for checking this mod out in the company of other TG'ers. Should this take place, will you be posting the info in this forum (where should we look for news on this point)?

If there is enough interest and it seems ready for primetime, we will look into getting the mod onto the 2nd server or the TG private server so we can get more people to play. The 3rds practice server only holds 20 people.

Please note that the 3rd pays for their own practice server out of thier own pocket. Your TG donations do NOT pay for thier practice server.

Yes, the 9th uses the private TG server for our practices as well as our BFCL home matches.

I know we have access to the private servers as IHS and supporting members but I am talking about a server just for a certian IHS. In other words, to say that the squad would have a right to the server, instead of first come first serve deal.

The 3rd's server is specifically for the 3rd's use, be it practice, scrims, or goofing around. The private server is held for in clan scrims, scheduled events/practices. I believe our SM subscriptions go into the funds that pay for the servers (conquest, server 2, and private).

Yep, TG has a private server that is booked in advance and usable by the TG community for events and practices. Several IHS' have rented their own servers due to the frequency with which they need a server for practices, pick up games, and matches.

I've been keeping my eye on FS for a good while now. So glad it's being released next week

I've even reinstalled BF2142 ready. I'll certainly be looking to hook up with other TG'rs, if TG hosts a server I'll be renewing my supporting member subscription.
