Aye, the stock weapons are very "general in usage," while the unlocks have "specialties." But, if I have a Voss, I'll regularly use it long range if rockets won't suffice, only problem is the scope doesn't zoom much. The Baur on the other hand, has absurd capabilities CQC. It may not shoot the fastest, but it can deal the most damage the "quickest." As for the SCAR, I can't wait for the next patch to try it out and see how they change it.

I'd be totally up for a target practice competition!

Weird, I thought it was the other way around. I seem to do better at range with the Baur and destroy people upclose with the Voss (Or the Clark, which I'm 1 unlock/field upgrade from having).

Heh well, the Baur is technically for long range, but the damage per bullet you can put out makes it the strongest CQC weapon. The recoil destroys its effectiveness as a spray-pray weapon though.

Its not the recoil only. Lets check the stats....

Close Range Damage:

Krylov 27 per Bullet
Baur 34 per Bullet

..looks good at first glance only since oyu have to factor in the speed. Baur is slow with 600RPM while krylov and Voss both come on 900RPM. Technically a Baur would have to do 36 dmg per Bullet only to even out with the CQC abilities of a Krylov.

Isn't the Voss like 24 per bullet but has a larger clip and less CoF bloom?
