I'm willing to bet that those instances are from either players leaving at those times, or the wonderful BF2142 server browser not updating correctly. I've joined on the server at full on Cerebere but turns out that its really on Verdun with 43 people.

Totally agree with everything Insun said, definitely mirrors my thoughts on this issue.

No reason we can't set up the other server in a manner similar to Insunabula's post and lower the conquest cap by a few people.

This thread isn't about the kick script. I'll help keep it on track by awnsering it. This isn't 100% but it's the bug I see often...

The cap lets in a supporting member while at the same time ques up a person thats non-supporting and kicks them about 5 seconds later. The script uses Punkbuster, That's why we see the message that we do onces we are kicked. Punkbuster has one nasty flaw and I have to manully fix it everytime. This flaw is punkbuster can't kick certian ID's and random times. It means that Random_Player01 is bugged and locking up the kick script. Either it be Idle, supporting member, Bad-word, or Team kills. The script tries to kick them repeatly and misses out on other members that need to be kicked at times.

There is also the lag time of a supporting member joining and the kickee leaving. The times do overlap although the person joining is only at the loading screen.

Now that this is taken care of, lets get this back on track of the 32 player cap. If you wish to continue this decussion on the kick scrpits and problems with it, Make a new thread in the support forum.

Just set the player limit at like 20ish and do all 16 player maps.

Or just raise it to 44 players to get the one extra squad in.

Or of course change it to the 32 player vanilla Titan.

I am working on a forum site for my local community and i am just going to point people in the direction of tg for gaming. I guess I should of put Gamers in quotations or something.

The type of community he is starting really has nothing to do with gaming. It is targeted to his local city. Like a place to post about resturants, movies, clubs, local schools, those type of local "real-life" community things. There will be forums for the local news and also just local organizations such as, cheerleading groups, boy/girl scouts, and any community groups that are interested in having a forum for the member to communicate online.
To just to sum it up, he isn't creating a "gaming" community.

I agree with what Sc1ence has to post. Its long but has well written reasons why we should kept the main server at a large population server. The second could be used to work with other options that we want to try out.

I vote to change the server back now. I was looking forward to playing this weekend as I finally had some time and after trying the 32p twice this just ruined it

Guys, I was even confused by Moxmax's post and thought the same thing as Bommando. Don't lash back to hard when a person doesn't understand and says something about it. It wasn't out of context or anything. All it was needed was a better explanation. It's great thing that Moxmax looks into his local community and pulls gamers into our graps and can't leave our control methods.
