This movie celebrates the end of the TRIAL FOR HONOR, 2142 CHALLENGE, a brazilian championship based on Battlefield 2142 EA/DICE game. It´s all about hand made animation, done in 3D Studio Max (no in-game footage). This Movie is packed with action, honor and cool rendering.

Very nice - charactor animation was a little basic but the overall clip was very inspiring and well put together.

By the way, those credits are, in fact, the name of the clans that took part on the Trial. Movie was done by a single person.

I'm in the CG industry - working on graphics, animations for broadcast and computer games. In all honesty he did very well for a one man show and it was very generous of Dice to donate the Textured models and charactors for use in the "send off" for the tournament.

Like I said before: The charactor animation was a liitle basic but that's probably only because of the time constraint he had to work with. The compositing and overall design was eye-catching and it fulfilled its purpose as a dramatic finale for a tournament.

As for anyone who can't use the link - just go to YouTube and search for "2142 challenge" - that's what I did.

I guess because I'm a soldier I think that way since we'll med evac a wounded enemy soldier just like we would our own.
