Wow....90 points up
I got kicked when i was Commanding a EU team 90 points up on a PAC team full of TG members and i got kicked for a little killing a few points before the end.. I was doing a good job and i was trying to get a few points to help make it worth the extra trouble to take a point of Leadership and i got kicked 5 points before my win by a TG admin, Was i out of place or doing something wrong? I was not fighting till the last 20 points and we had a 90 point lead on them. So here is is Dose the Commander have the right to fight If his team is ahead and it is 20-30 points to the other teams demise?
P.S I have got almost a Perfect Command record on TG servers and commanded 20+ times

Re: Wow....90 points up
This is something you should bring up with the Admin in question via PM.
But, just so you know, commanders do not enter battle, they command it. (ie. no fighting). For more detailed info, check the rules and SOP's.

Re: Wow....90 points up
A commander is not supposed to fight at all in a game, because it means he isnt fullfilling his duty of commanding his team. No matter the lead, dont fight as a commander. Unless people are attacking your UCB, thats a different story though

Re: Wow....90 points up
Well, it is quite possible that some of your teammates didn't quite take kindly to abandoning your job as commander, even at a point so close to winning.

Re: Wow....90 points up
Possible closing everyone of these is contributing to the problem. Poeple hardly ever read the stickies in our forum but surf the normal threads. It seems as of late that these are coming up a lot, which is good is some ways, new folks are making it to the forum. If someone is questioning something it is probably not meant as a smack on TG but rather they are looking for guidance. The admins have enough trouble just keeping the server clean, we as established TG'ers should help explain why certian things are frowned upon on TG. [/soapbox]
On TG servers the commanders are always required to command. Even when the tickets are low and you are about to win, there may be squads that are still trying to get that last flag for a cap-out or just trying to get the better of an opposing squad. If that way they the commander's help till the last ticket. You've commanded a lot so remember when your team wins you 2x the points. That should be more than enough if you remember to place orders and the team is working together. Goodluck in future battles and hey become a supporting, you could always be kick to make room for one even when commanding!
