Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?

What do you do? take your knife out and knife him before he does it to you. It's quite embarrassing to be knifed by the person you are trying to stab. it's a slight at their ego, their common sense of not useing a gun and you get their tags as a bonus.

But normally just unload on him with your main gun if he doesn't die quickly switch to your sidearm and hope that you damaged him enough so that your pistol/SMG can kill him (aim for the chest the gun's recoil do the rest of the aiming for you 'walking' the bullets to the head).

Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?

don't know if this has been posted yet but here it is;

pull out a nade, right click and drop it right at your feet, if he knifes you, at least he will die too

Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?

I know exactly what you mean. As an individual I hate getting knifed especially when it looks rediculous but it's almost impossible not to get knifed. My best suggestion would be to not be prone that often(unless sniper), don't stand still often, check your six often, don't go prone when capturing a silo. (I've gotten most of my kills from these guys whose main focus is the bar on their screen and not the blur of an invisible recon right infront of them.

Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?

What I mostly love about knifers is the way they always seem to call you a noob no matter what you do.. If you stab them, you are a hackernoob. If you kill them with anything other than a knife you are a Baur/Zeller/RDX/Pistol/SMG-noob... I love my RDX. Once this guy was loading off on me for using RDX to blow him to smithereens when he tried to stab me. There was FF on so I would have died too if it wasn´t for my trusty pal, the crate-in-the-way. The funny thing was that he had been using those annoying rockets you can get as Assault for whatever weapon you´re using, and he was calling me a noob for using RDX when those rockets are basicly ranged RDX? Unfair

Death by Defib. is by far the most satisfying

Nah I like death by repair gun.....

Tip for snipers, remember just because you put an APM behind you doesn't mean it's gonna stop someone from knifing, you can crouch right over those suckers. Unless the person is in a knife rage and will stop at nothing to knife you, but then again, they do deserve to be blown up I think!

Anything's possible, the tough part is figuring out how to do it

Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?

You can't avoid being knifed all of the time, so why worry about it...I always manage a chuckle and then see which TG person just grabbed my tags, but then again maybe I just like giving them away.

I've lucked into some nice TG tags and besides Lyra's (which I got on a private server ) I couldn't tell you who's tags I've got without looking. It's all just part of the fun of BF

Due to my most recent psych evaluation (due to the last court case I had listed), I again must disclose the following. Please do not take any posts made by Catman seriously, we have found defects in his thought processes that lead him sometimes to act as, what the internet would call a forum troll. He feels any attention is better than no attention and must have it at all costs, even his own dignity, well if he had any left. If you begin to take his posts seriously, please call us you are in need of serious psychiatric attention. We are available 24/7 at 1-800-OMGIMNUTS, please scream into the phone as soon as it's answered, we will identify you as a catman follower from that and direct your call to someone who can attend to you immediately.

Yh, it's all good fun...until someone takes your tags twice and teabags you, that's when the twitch and the burning feeling of rage pulsating inside me starts to come...but all good fun in the end.

Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?

I've given and received my share of tags. I chuckle when I get the tags of someone I know, otherwise I get no thrill from it and I could care less who has my tags.

Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?

I get nailed so many times by knifers. But normally I really don't care. I would note thier name and if I manage to knife them back Oh joy of joys, if not oh well I still have someone's dogtags.
