Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?
HAHA that happened so many times to me, when I wasn't paying attention to what was around me. Got transport teabagged too.
300 to 1? No problem. Might need more bullets though...

Yep, I've been killed by a transport a couple times when I didn't see it coming.

Sweet set Sharingan! I use a half-broken desk mic for VoIP. lol. Works pretty well though, so no real room to envy or complain.

Yes, I currently have a table-top mic, but it makes me sound so quiet (according to everyone in my squads), and its a hassle leaning forwards to shout into it. That's the one thing I like about pub servers XD.

Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?
My head set has a mike attached, but I'm guessing that the reason I can't hear that well is 'cause there is only one speaker on the left side. At least I have a reason to test my new surround sound system.

Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?
I have a desktop mic mounted underneath the shelf over my monitor, so it points straight at my face while giving me a clear line of sight to the screen. However, my sound card only has one channel working, so I can only hear out of one ear, so to speak, when I have headphones plugged in. This makes it damn hard to triangulate sound. =(

Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?
I advocate the shoot him in the face method. Alternately, you can go with the 'Shoot him in the face, then pull your knife and gut his two buddies who thought they were real sneaky'. But usually I just get stabbed in the back and feel silly.
Though, if you see him coming at you pull your knife and cut a *****.

Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?
Never, ever, Ever use your knife unless you have run all of your ammunition dry. It is a last resort weapon. And sqying that it is stealthy won't work either especially on Tactical Gamer, the guy would just use teamspeak or the squad comm and say that he is down and that there is a guy with a knife behind them. Then before you can get anyone else you get filled with lead.
Besides why waste half a minute trying to knife some bastard when you can just shoot him and everyone around him in that same period of time?300 to 1? No problem. Might need more bullets though...

Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?
Meh, I'm a good pistol shot and a pretty decent knifer. But I would prefer the pistol over the knife on pretty much all occasions. It's too easy to get killed with a knife at least with a pistol you can hurt the guy and let your teammate take him down and revive you after.

Re: Avoid Getting Knifed?
Yeah, but if you time it just right, you can kill when you pull your knife, therefore taking up about half the time that it takes to with a pistol if your a good shot. (I suck with the pistol anyways)
