Honestly one of the best things you can do is grab an assault rifle and charge them. If they have their nades out throwing, then they can't shoot you. And you close the range so quickly they can't throw the nades at you without killing themselves...

That would defeat the whole purpose of playing in "Titan Mode". When ppl want to run around and capture control points. They call it Conquest. >_> <_< Witch is precisely why this defense "tactic" of throwing nades without a visible target is frustrating.

Actually, controlling the silos is the best and most reliable way to win. If your team has consistent control of the majority of silos, you'll bring their shields down first while your titan still has it's shields.

Doesn't work, the majority of times the motion mines fall through the floor to the ground below the Titan.

the best way of clearing our 'nade spammers? one make sure that there is a medic nearby with a AED and a support guy to keep your ammo filled. then throw a few 'nades yourself if and when you get totally fragged the medic will revive you and resume. its long and extremely grinding but it works. But if they have IPS and Sentry's deployed either find a way around to their flanks. If this is a titan hallway then don't bother, you'll just waste your time, if this is the senario you're better off just jumping off the titan and caping the silos, it would be a far more efficient use of resources and manpower. And it would make the spammers wonder why they aren't getting anymore kills. With luck they will be stupid enough to stay in the titan tieing up their own resources rather than yours.

What works for the goose also works for the gander. You can actually shield yourself from nade/rocket spam by deploying an IPS. The IPS will eat rockets without detonating them and absorb grenade damage if you're behind it. An EMP grenade can tempoarily disable sentry guns and the Zellar can knock them out as well as APMs.
You're best bet against an entrenched position is to buy enough time in order to apply force against your opposition. Smoke to conceal, IPS shield to defend, EMP to disorientate, and Zellar to take out passive defenses are all ways to cut down the threats so you have those extra seconds to return fire.
Running a flood of bodies down the hallway is not a solution. If the defense is stacked up properly (and TG squads generally are) you'll run face first into Ganz fire and possibly an assault waiting for their turn to keep up rocket spam. The support guy behind the shield with the machine gun will also laugh at recons and gun them down as the diamond runs stealthily down the hallway. Don't aim for the soldiers, a quick revive will negate any damage you may have done. Aim for the resources in the area that give them an advantage. Rocket spam is more difficult if you're confused by smoke and/or EMP. Hallways are safer without APMs or Sentry guns present and easier to rush. the IPS is better down than up since your grenades and rockets may actually have a chance to reach the people behind it.
If all else fails. Fire an engineer AV rocket at the IPS in order to take it out and distract them. The explosion, flash, and destruction of the IPS could get you enough of a window to throw a few grenades and rockets into their heart.

in more open conquest maps, rifle rockets are made of win. just airburst above them.
i don't have much experience in the titan halls, but one might suggest either grenading back or popping in and out and firing rifle rockets. (dont stay exposed for more than a second).

The tough thing about getting into the corridor is the grenades going off at your feet and APMs surrounding the doorway. Then, as soon as you pop your head in, the rockets start to make an appearance. By the time you set your range on the rockets, you're dead. Grenades are more useful, especially when thrown with the right mouse button.

usually people pre-set their rifle rockets before actually entering the hall way. Grenades usually arnt as effective because they usually dont go past the side barriers or the lil shields people place down. If you preset your rifle rocket and pop in, shoot, pop out, then usually your bound to get a hit or a kill, if a whole squad is there doing that, it should be easier to attack and break through
*APM's and C4's in sight are easily to get rid of with an engineer*

When you preset your rockets, you are scoped in and movement speed is reduced to a snail's pace, I doubt you'll get through the door unless you have some very lucky timing and catch the other team reloading or looking at something shiny  .

Are you suggesting we toss our engineer at the C4 and watch him go BOOM! I like you're way of thinking. Just kidding, I know where you're going with this and have to say that I've never seen an engineer use the disarming tool, whatever it's called. Would be neat to see, but more often than not you have people like me that don't look down and manually disable them with the big toe on their left foot.

First of all, you dont go ALL the way through the door, just like 1/5 of the way is sufficient enough to shoot 3 times, and get away without getting killed (although chances are your ganna be low on health). And you have the element of surprise(not like ninja surprise but you choose when to pop in and out) so you can usually catch them before the take out their rifles and mow you down.
and about engineers with disarming stuff..
ive used it all the time in titan modes and its really effective to help squads get through... When i say that their easy to get rid of, in titan mode atleast. Usually in titan mode, people will place a AMP or c4's OUTSIDE the halls, where usually they cant see. Judging by servers ive played on, (ive only played on TG titan like twice, other servers alot) people blow their c4 when they first see someone appear in the hall(They dont blow it before because then they have to go back and reput it down). As for C4 and APM's in the hall itself, thats a whole different story. but usually people place their c4's by the doorway(which is actually not really smart)

When I play titan and I'm defending a corridor as recon, I'll place an APM inside the door BEHIND where you would run to charge down the hall and another halfway up behind one of the barriers. Then I'll toss RDX on the ceiling in a straight line from the door to the first or second barrier and sit back and wait. I'll let the 'nade spammers and rocket whores do their thing and, when needed, I'll do mine  .
About the only thing that screws with this is smoke, if I can't see them than I won't blow the rdx.

thats not how you do it.
you point your gun and that shows you the distance between you and the target of opportunity
(you the distance you need to airburst at)
then, you manually set the distance , and slowly CROUCH (apm's can be avoided by crouching) blast one rocket per time you bob out, and make sure its fast.
as for enemy rockets and grenades, wait for a burst of 4, then pop out while the defenders reload
