Re: Pilium
If you put your target into the scoped in circle, and it completely fills the circle, you will not miss. That said, the pilum could not be described as accurate by any bending of definitions.

Re: Pilium
Accuracy has not been an issue with me when using this. Hitting moving targets iusually just requires that you remember the "projectile" is slow moving and you need to lead the target a bit more. Stationary targets are no problem at all, if I can see it the I can usually hit it. Mind you, if you look at my stats there are a lot of misses....I like shooting at the gunships and transports.

Re: Pilium
With any movement side to side which includes fast movement of the weapon itself (you do get aiming deviation when you swing a weapon around) then the larger circle is a good bet of where you're going to hit. If you keep it stationary for a second and adjust your aim slowly without exagerated movements then the center of the smaller circle is where the shot will land.
Check out the clips in the other thread I posted to see some rather jaw dropping shots with the Pilum. When he snipes the rear of a moving tank, a moving FAV, or a gunship in flight at 100+ yards then you get an idea of how accurate it can be in skilled hands.

Re: Pilium
Another thing to point out is that the default AV weapons are better at taking out air vehicles than the pilum (as they are guided). That is assuming you aren't using the SAAW of course
![]() Also, I've heard this but I am not sure if it is fact or rumor- Can an FAV on full speed boost outrun a default AV weapon round?
