RDX Placement on Assets
This guide will show you where to place the RDX on assets to yield the most destructive force possible with the least amount of RDX used. With 5 packs of RDX you can take down two and a half assets.
On the EMP: First Pack: Place it on the "front side," as pictured in the screenshot below. ![]() Second Pack: This goes on the exact opposite side of the asset. On the SAT Track: First Pack: ![]() Second Pack: The second pack goes on the exact opposite side of the asset in the same spot. On the UAV: First Pack: ![]() Second Pack: ![]() On the Orbital Strike: First Pack: ![]() Second Pack: As with the others, the pack goes on the exact opposite side the asset. On most asset destruction missions, it would be wise to take out the SAT track first, followed by the UAV. This will allow you to move easier in enemy territory without fear of being noticed on radar. In some instance, your team/CO may require that you take out the OS/EMP instead, as these tools are very destructive forces on some maps and can make or break a defense. The enemy commander may drop supply crates to repair the assets, use these to your advantage. Restock your RDX, place them on the asset being repaired, put one of the supply crate, then get to a safe distance and detonate them. If you arrive quickly enough to an asset that is being repaired, usually one RDX on any part of the structure will suffice. Hope this helps you sneaky people out there that like blowing stuff up!

Re: RDX Placement on Assests
I thought their was one asset that needed 3 rdx. That may come from the place I used to place them on. Thanks for the screenshots Anospa.
Like reaper says, a support is always good to blow down assets. |

Re: RDX Placement on Assests
Yeah, some of the assets have a lot of empty air which can result in wasted explosive power and the need for a 3rd RDX.
On the Crate: When I spot the crate I usually just drop an RDX on the crate itself and one on the asset while resupplying myself before blowing both. The RDX on the crate is usually enough to down the asset again, but its best to be safe while you have that box there to grab more ammo. It has been pointed out to me that if you are going Covert in trying to take out assets then you might want to take the ghost recon becon. Deploying the becon somewhere out of the way (yet still within range of you) will mask your Sattrack, UAV, IDS, Pulse scanner, and Otus signature so you are harder to find. Be wary of the maximum range on that beacon, however, because it could backfire and give two signatures if you're too far away.

Re: RDX Placement on Assests
Interesting. I always thought the number of RXD per asset was variable.

Re: RDX Placement on Assests
Digging way in the past..... yeah I made a post about that a year ago
Putting the RDX on top of it works like a charm. No stupid running around - Just stupid jumping to place on top lolhttp://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...tml#post634261

Ah, that was the post I was looking for. Before making this, I searched a bit but didn't find it.
