Re: PAC and Belgrade
I will typically ALWAYS engage anything that hides in the UCB and engages hostiles from a distance. The UCB is not a safe zone to take pot shots from nor is it a place to retreat from a fight when you're about to get your butt handed to you, you spawn there and move out.
When I instruct my squad to take out a sniper, tank, APC, rail gun, etc squatting in a UCB I give detailed instructions and explain why the action is within the rules and what they can and can not do while completing the task at hand.
People who engage from the perceived safety of a UCB are annoying gnats that should be swatted.

Re: PAC and Belgrade
Yea, I know. I have just noticed that when I see someone do it. The other squads start doing it. Then it turns into an argument with guys complaining about TG camping the spawns point and the UCB. This has been my experience anyway, usually just leads to newbs running around killing things as they spawn.

Re: PAC and Belgrade
IMO, holding monorail should never be possible. If you're doing it, it means that the other team is not paying attention. In nearly every case when monorail is taken, you put yourself in the middle of two EU flags. Monorail is not a bunker on a hill, in fact, the terrain around monorail favors the attacker while you are stuck with little cover you can shoot out from. I agree that it works well when it is done...but that doesnt change that fact that if the EU team were to suddenly become competent, you we shaken off monorial without much of a problem.
I think the best example of forward flag taking is on sidi. Both ways. Either of these flags can be held with a single squad, although military is harder.Shhhh I'm being made
