Re: Default rockets...Guiding???
Nothing prevents you from holding down the fire key even with autoload on.

True, but if you let go, it reloads.

Re: Default rockets...Guiding???
No, I'm fairly sure the missiles can track their targets without maintaining lock after firing.
Here's a SAAW video to prove it.
EDIT: He does continue to visually track the gunship while reloading, but you definitely don't need to keep looking down the scope.

Re: Default rockets...Guiding???
I have had no luck tracking air vehicles if I unscope. I don't know how he managed that.

Re: Default rockets...Guiding???
as long as there is a line of sight to the target the missiles will track.

Re: Default rockets...Guiding???
I believe they track on their own for a short period of time, but to help guarantee the kill, its better to have the missile lock sustained. Just ask Draeh, he's killed me enough with the SAAW in the past to know what he's talking about.

Re: Default rockets...Guiding???
The missiles can track as long at the saaw is pointed at the target, zoomed in or no. As the target gets further away and disappears from view, being zoomed in will continue to show brackets around the target, and will help you keep aiming in the right direction to keep your missiles tracking.
