The Voss has a smaller initial crosshair than any other AR. Its one reason its often considered overpowered: it has the raw ammo for spraying in cqc and has the accuracy to out-perform the Baur at range. Contrary to belief, the Baur is the best cqc weapon, at least in one-on-one encounters.

Sadly, I happen to agree with this. Even with the steadiest hand in single shot mode while squeezing off two rapid headshots (and realigning after recoil) the Voss user will happily empty half a clip with little recoil right into your body at the same range before you get the second shot off.

That being said, the Baur is a beast in CQC if you know what you're doing, but hey, who needs it when you've got the Herzog?

QFT. This is the #1 reason I use the baur. I would use a shotgun, but no medpacks make me cry. No rockets make me cry more. You know what. I use the baur cause I'm emo.

THe trick is to know the weapon shortcuts of each AR. At CQB, with the Baur, simply crouch and fire, no aiming. With the Voss, simply spray(not very effective) or stay standing, aim, and fire. With the Baur, no scoping. With the Voss, no crouching. I have experimented SOME WHAt with this, and have so far found it to be true. One of the major advantages to the defaults is that they will shoot relatively well no matter the technique of the shooter. Whether you stand, crouch aim, or fire from the hip, the Krylov and Scar will be relatively on target, and with nice damage per bullet.

Currently, the Scar gets no accuracy bonus from crouching, so doing so will just be more likely to get you headshot.
