I didn't realize there was a panel for such things. I say discuss it and lets us know what you guys decide.

There is no confliction (yet). This game takes place 130 years in the future. The weapons, tools and vehicles are mostly out of realism with it comes to modren day and age weaponry. Spawn beacons to me seem farther fetched then any other item. Spawning on SLs seems very far from realistic. From the primer:

If we held the primer to the letter Squad beacons would be illegel tactic. But we also have to abide by EAs EULA and contracts with private providers of running Ranked servers. "design of the game engine" We limit what we can. Thats roof top beacons, wall glitching, gunship transports, bunnyhopping, dolphin diving, Etc. Macros are not part of that game engine. Macros are built into other games of
TG. Macros are not even a threat here.
Lastly we are all preaching realism. Do you know what is realistic here at
TG? The tactics we use and teach on to other players. That what our foundation of
TG was built on. Using real world tactics in FPS games. Taking from our armed forces and employing the same or simaler tactics.
BF2142 is a bit harder to at that then CCS and
BF2. We are a faster paced game and crunched together. It's very over-urbanized combat. But we still teach tactics in our forums and TGU classes about personal, squad, and team tactics. We forget that, we forget
TG founding roots.
