Warning may contain idea some find disturbing.

Ok feel free to berate me for this but,

Sometime watching your teammate die is acceptable.
I know , I know but what about this,

You and Sgt.Rock are holding a Silo, when he’s horribly gunned down. His screams of “Man Down, Man Down” spur you into action and you immediately dive to his aid reviving him. Just long enough to hear “Cheers” before he’s gunned down again along with you this time. The Enemy waltz in and takes the Silo

Or

You and Sgt.Rock are holding a Silo, when he’s horribly gunned down. His screams of “Man Down, Man Down” tear at your heart and soul, but you concentrate on making the killer pay, taking him down and his mate who tried to rush you. You look across and Sgt Rock is gone leaving just his pack behind him. Silo is still in friendly hands and 30secs later Sgt Rock comes screaming into silo area in FAV, having spawned at base.

Don’t get me wrong I appreciate being revived, but sometimes it’s only long enough to add myself again to the enemies kill stat

Everyone who seen Full Metal Jacket knows you don´t run out in the open if the body is covered - unless you have a full squad giving cover fire!

But the body is still being ping'd by enemy snipers! And the guy you send in to extract the wounded is nailed too! And then the squad you bring for back-up stand around when the SL gets tagged through the chest!

My God the humanity ;o;

If it's two guys or less you should finish them off then go for the revive, if it's more than two guys revive run and repeat.

Re: Warning may contain idea some find disturbing.

This is something that really aggravates me. I don't know how many times I've gone down, only to get revived just to die again.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE....clear the area before you revive.

(On a side note...nothing gets to the enemy more than them getting a kill, only to die to you and the person they just killed is revived. I know it gets to me. )

Need some cover on the fly? Want to live longer at the expense of others? See a soldier on the ground who would make the perfect shield? Hesitate no longer and pull out your NEW Personal Meatshielding Device 1.236312!!!

The PMD 1.236312:

In the year 2143, EU Scientists created the PMD Personal Meatshielding Device to counter the advancing threat of PAC over-shotgunning. By this time in the war, over-hunting of EU soldiers through the use of shotguns had not only diminished EU numbers by 46% but also dropped EU moral to an all time low. And while the nefarious ROFLCopter was a tactic employed by the EU to both raise moral and rain death from above, it did little to stop the onslaught of over-shotgunning.

The PMD features an all weather construction. Paper and ink are of the standard biodegradable material so that they disappear with the bodies they are attached to. A new feature of the 1.236312 version is duct tape application strips. Previous versions required that their operator used safety pins to attach the PMD to an unwary soul; needless to say the reports of finger injuries in the EU decreased dramatically after duct tape make its debut.

The above photograph is of the first known PMDs deployed against the PAC. It is widely known that Squad Leaders of the EU placed high value on PMDs and used them whenever possible.

Re: Warning may contain idea some find disturbing.

If theres a single guy shoot him, aim true 2 tickets rest on your shoulders now. If theres more than 1 guy toss a gernade that will make them scatter away from you and the corpse and keep the corpse clear. If you place a gernade right the enemy will need to wait till it goes off to move in or move in and die. Smoke can work as well too and has the added effect that they may think it is a real gernade if you throw it near them and scatter away.

For revives and assults nades are reaily your best friend.

If your squad leader is down get him up his ticket is worth more than yours, if your the SL your ticket is worth more than your whole team don't risk your squads spawn point for one hard to get ticket but also don't let your team die needlessly.

Exactly. If there is a break in the fire (and they're not rocketting or grenading the body) I will make that revive. As long as one of us gets away, we've bought time. I'll trade my 15 seconds of downtime for his 5 remaining. Assuming he got away, he can make the same trade for me. Delaying saves tickets. If there is no way I can make the revive and get away, I won't go for the revive, and that's really it.
