BF2142 Crash Course Videos - In Progress

Here's my plan: film myself performing particular BF gameplay, while captions explain the purpose of what's being done in the form of tips. In essence: "Here's how to play well, and let me show you how."

I intend to do a series of videos - first thing I want to cover is basic infantry squad member work. So, no vehicles, no leadership, no maps, and no air. Just how to approach the enemy and cap flags/silos regardless of kit.

Ideally, I'd like to film the shots in a controlled environment, in which some fellows will play the teammates, and others the enemies. This is so that filming can be done quickly and represent the situations as gracefully and as free of unnecessary noise as possible.

In this thread, I will post the tooltips I intend to show. Please add more if you feel any are missing.

-The best way to approach the average firefight is to crouch, scope up, and fire in bursts.

-On a good burst, the first bullet will hit the body, and the recoil will bring the others over to your target's head.

-PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN are shortcuts to say "yes" or "no".

-When teammates request repairs, ammo or health, an icon will appear on the map to guide you to them.

-Likewise, when you need such help, the map will show you where to find it.

-If you've killed someone right before capping a flag, he'll have the time to respawn and take revenge. Seek backup and remain sharp!

-If you run out of ammo in the middle of a head-on firefight, switch to pistol instead of reloading to finish the job.

-Gunshots are loud. Use the knife to save ammo and take out a preliminary target as you sneak up on a squad.

-Wear a pair of headphones. It's the best way to know where things are coming from.

-You can speak to your squadmates. Press and hold V to do so.

-When shot down, you automatically call for a medic. Press Fire to call again. You can only do so two more times.

-Prepare all your kits before you join the fight to avoid bad surprises.

-Follow your squad's orders. Use VoIP to coordinate your assaults and give intel.

-When speaking of an enemy you can't spot, use the cardinal directions. A compass is available on your map.

-When using grenades, press and hold the secondary mouse button to execute a weaker throw.

-Similarly, you can hold on to your grenade in this manner. It will never explode in your hands.

-Be sure to spot the enemies you see to help your teammates.

this is all i would include in the first video. you could make a squadplay and advanced squadplay video as well. actually, you could make an advanced video outlining tactics for every kit. the ganz, SCAR, and moretti 4 all have different shooting styles eh?

you might want to include how to spot enemies, as in what keys to press, etc.

good workl but, i hope on watching this and maybe learning something!
