You have an insane KD ratio of 5.07 to get this with a sniper rifle you need to be playing it safe staying in the back and racking up the kills from a safe postion. Not a bad thing but your not able to press on a flag doing that. Your APM & RDX KD are low so your not racking up the kills with those, being in a back postion they often don't get a chance to go off. Most of your kills are with the zellar. With the baur you have about 40% of the time but more than half the kills of the zellar, what this means to me is that as a recon your not keeping nearly as many people dead per time as you could as an assault. Where kills per time is a stronger indication of ability to capture flags you would be a much more effective squad member as an assault and have the added benefit of being able to revive the SL/SM and heal others. The ability to project force does not do you as much good unless you have the ability to take advantage of openings. Not saying your kit is wrong only that as an assault you have better squad dynamics and staying power.

Re: My Ideal Infantry Squad Composition
Recon are unfortuantely heavily situation when it comes to playing the TG way. If Assaults didn't have the defib or rockets, Recon would be ALOT more useful, but they are just too good to put down. Ya the Lambert isn't the best gun, but the explosives can very key to a defense.
I've played a sniper in a TG squad, and had a sniper in my squad, but only on maps that call for it. Unfortunately, on alot of maps, Assaults with Rockets, one very key exception is Operation Shingle. If I get a full squad I'll generally call in 3 assault, 2 recon and a support. I'll have the recon go either sniper or lambert depending on the gameplan I have in mind. OS is just one of those maps that are open enough to snipe, but concealed enough to hide explosives. Very few maps have that quality. If Verdun had like 6 flags, and no vehicles, Verdun would be another great map for it.

As for the more relevant topic of the thread, I would say that out of the few times I have led a squad on TG, the one I had most fun with was an all-support defense squad at Church on Cerbere Landing. There's not much that can stand up to 6 soldiers all armed with sentry guns, renewable ammo and grenades, and the most punishing infantry weapons in the game. |

Re: My Ideal Infantry Squad Composition
yep off the EA site, link to your toon:
http://battlefield.ea.com/battlefiel...&PID=115380673 Where a recon shines in a squad for RDX/APM's use is on a titan round as defender you can reaily tear up the attackers with em. One of the most important things to remember about squad make up is that any make up may be great for one flag/attack and suck on the same flag during a different attack.
