Re: The ROSCH is your enemy
I like any rorsch, anywhere!! I would rorsch in a zoo, I would rorsch on a bus, I don't care! It is funny when you're about to blow a walker and a friendly eats your round, as someone mentioned before

I just started squad leading over this weekend, I don't like to and I'm trying to get over it. I find myself always asking someone to man the rorsch.

I like Rorsches too. It's too easy to knife the guy and nab his dog tags, but you need to stab him on the opposite side of the gun. I use Rorsches on occasion, but I like the Pilum better.

Re: The ROSCH is your enemy
Once on the TG server, the guy in the rosch was slaugtering us, so I turned and started to fire off rockets at him. Well, I soon felt stupid because someone in my squad ran up with a knife and it was over with. xD

Re: The ROSCH is your enemy
The Rosch is very helpful. Even though that it is extremely slow when you zoom in and try to move around, it is still an all around effective weapon to use. I spent a whole game in one once and I killed like 18 guys who didn't think that the Rosch posed a threat to them.

Lyra lies, Doom Cannon SHOULD NOT be destroyed for any reason! DO NOT shoot at TPQ when he is in Doom Cannon!

Re: The ROSCH is your enemy
Good read, but I have to disagree with one thing here. When I have my sniper rifle handy, I LOVE IT when people jump in a Rorsch. 95% of the time it's an insta-headshot to the Rorsche operator. The other 5% of the time it's a bodyshot (head isn't visible), then they jump out and I finish the job.

Re: The ROSCH is your enemy
I prefer a demolition job on it, sneak up on a rosch, grab my C4 and boom. Although fixed defenses in this game have been vastly improved, being exposed is now pretty much a low chance and they work against their intended targets, now all we need is an MG with an excellent canopy to avoid being sniped like in the old BF

Re: The ROSCH is your enemy
Do you aim for the person or the ground at his feet when you want to kill infantry in it?

Re: The ROSCH is your enemy
It depends on which Rorsch you're using. The AA Rorsch you aim at the feet, the AV Rorsch you aim it directly at them.

Re: The ROSCH is your enemy
AV Rorsch: just aim at the body. Easiest way to get a hit. It's an instant kill. Don't get all fancy by trying for unneeded headshots.

Re: The ROSCH is your enemy
Apparently you have to aim slightly off centre, just off to the left at mid-long ranges

Re: The ROSCH is your enemy
Also take note of what kinds of obstacles are near you. Since the actual gun is to the right of your seat, you may often hit an object (light pole, wall, etc.) well to the right of your crosshairs. This is especially important with the Rorsch at Crossroads in FoB. Many times the enemy APC may seem to be in the gun's range, but end up shooting the building instead.
