As these guides inevitably do; I am sure this one will end up causing more problems than it helps, but here is twist on the Offensive side of "Fall of Berlin".
This strategy will require the following squad makeup:
SL: Recon - Any weapon, just make sure you have RDX and probably a Beacon.
1 Engineer with Motion Mines
1 Support
The rest probably Medic
The key to this attack is speed. The Squad Leader must spawn in and immediately get to the APC and start for Square. The Engineer will spawn in with the SL and man the mortar seat. Upon reaching the point below, all members will spawn in and either evacuate the APC via the pod or regular method. The Engineer will hop out and begin throwing Motion Mines. He may want to start mining even before the APC reaches the intended point, but not more than 10-20 meters behind. The SL should trow an RDX pack or two on the APC in case the enemy doesn't destroy it. Pop that baby like a zit if the NASTYMEN get a hold of it.
Now if everything goes as planned (which it rarely does

) the Motion Mines will destroy the enemy Walker and APC (or at the very least buy you enough time to get the rock out of there) or if you coordinate with your CO he can destroy them for you. Average spawn timers and time to get killed will mean that the enemy will be respawning right about the time you reach the flag. Kill them, take their flag, burn their women, and rape their homes.
Oh, and you are wondering about the mines at Crossroads? Well if you move fast enough they either wont have time to put them up, or the ones that go down wont have enough time to arm.
Either way, this should only cost your team a few tickets and loss of the APC for a few minutes. I tried this the other night and it worked like a charm. We had Outpost within 2 minutes from go.
