As these guides inevitably do; I am sure this one will end up causing more problems than it helps, but here is twist on the Offensive side of "Fall of Berlin".

This strategy will require the following squad makeup:
SL: Recon - Any weapon, just make sure you have RDX and probably a Beacon.
1 Engineer with Motion Mines
1 Support
The rest probably Medic

The key to this attack is speed. The Squad Leader must spawn in and immediately get to the APC and start for Square. The Engineer will spawn in with the SL and man the mortar seat. Upon reaching the point below, all members will spawn in and either evacuate the APC via the pod or regular method. The Engineer will hop out and begin throwing Motion Mines. He may want to start mining even before the APC reaches the intended point, but not more than 10-20 meters behind. The SL should trow an RDX pack or two on the APC in case the enemy doesn't destroy it. Pop that baby like a zit if the NASTYMEN get a hold of it.


Now if everything goes as planned (which it rarely does) the Motion Mines will destroy the enemy Walker and APC (or at the very least buy you enough time to get the rock out of there) or if you coordinate with your CO he can destroy them for you. Average spawn timers and time to get killed will mean that the enemy will be respawning right about the time you reach the flag. Kill them, take their flag, burn their women, and rape their homes.

Oh, and you are wondering about the mines at Crossroads? Well if you move fast enough they either wont have time to put them up, or the ones that go down wont have enough time to arm.

Either way, this should only cost your team a few tickets and loss of the APC for a few minutes. I tried this the other night and it worked like a charm. We had Outpost within 2 minutes from go.

I have done a varation of this where your squad goes up and pushes in, just as the APC is about to pop everyone pods out in different directions, to the commander it will look like theres a lot of people there all over the place and will call for help on the 2-3 flags that your squad will be on quickly. Either they put a lot back to get your squad and your team can cap road block a lot easyer OR you likely cap something back far. the best bet is if you can arange it with all the squad leaders to jump in to the UBC and run back with you then your whole team is faceing only a few people.

A very important though slightly cheesey thing to remeber on berlin is that EU does not have an uncap so thier armor can be bombed right from the start.

you have to remember the rorsch is well positioned so idk if running through the middle seems likely to happen. I personally like going south and podding over the fence

You miss the point. You will be past Crossroads within 10 seconds. How many people spawn in, move to the Doomcannon, and are ready to fire in 10 seconds? Oh, and you have shields...

Yeah those were my thoughts as well, with the shields you should be able to spearhead through. The key is speed, you absolutely and essentially HAVE TO move on them before they can dig in.

Its really not the Rorsch you need to worry about in the first ten seconds. Its an engy that brings EMP mines. One of those down in the road, and your APC is gone within 5 seconds.

Excellent APC rush today on Berlin. Prom made an "APC Rush" Squad and I made another Squad. I told my SMs to hold spawn and wait for my sign.


As the round started prom rushed right forward. Some mines were out already to so the APC took some heavy hits.

I podded out of my sidecannon almost to Roadblock and let my Squad spawn in. Prom made it a bit further even and took the north path towards outpost. My squad was buying prom time and distracting the enemy camping on the middle building between square and crossroad. Eventually we even capped square and crossroad while Prom had his way with outpost. After securing the first flag we had 20 tickets from our initial buffer to spare.
