I want to fully agree with Zhohar but on one condition...it depends on the make-up of your squad....if it is composed of less than fully seasoned soldiers who devote only leisure time to the game then it might not be worth risking a full on assault on the inner flags of Camp Gibraltar or for that matter any "extremely" risky assaults behind enemy lines.....I've learned that you need to be able to read your squads capabilities within the first minute of gameplay and strike accordingly...I've caught myself frustrated with a squad once and realized that I expected too much. Don't let it happen! It ruins the fun and lowers morale!

I think your tactics are all wrong. When the round starts on Tunis Harbour everyone shout stay in the UCB and protect their assets. Assets are worth so much - so you need to make sure noone destroys it.

After 5 minutes have passed you may move forward slowly. Establishing a line of Snipers onto your catwalk. While crawling forward and always looking into the max viewdistance you gain territory.


After 20 more minutes have passed you should have secured Eastern Docks or Junkyard. Please secure those flags first by spawning SUPPORT and putting down a ring of sentries around the flag.


After 40 more minutes passed you may slowly advance towards Powerstation - the enemy team should arrive around the same time. The 2 COs meet in the middle and roll a 20-sided dice each. The highest number wins and gets to cap the flag.


After this meeting the losing side pulls back to their flag (junkyard or eastern docks) and waits there for the bleed to end the game.



Now people... THIS is strategy! THIS is TG style! I will suggest Eroak to add this to the server rules.

Everyone should move around the map in a clockwise rotation with their knife out! This is the only way to stay hidden and get those coveted tags. Constantly flanking for the whole round.

(sorry Zhohar....I blame Lyra!)

I totally agree with you Zhohar! Leading an aggressive squad is much more fun than simply travelling down the standard road.
