Or finding a kit with a full clip but the rifle is in single shot...

    Expanding on kit switching....

Pack a few patches, they put in a timer for medkits, that if you threw one down, you'd have to wait a bit of time to take another one out (sometimes its bugged, but thats beside the point). There's a way around this:

When you just cleared out a squad or a lone assault, pick up his kit, throw down his medpack, and reap the benefit of healing yourself/friendlies with the enemies equipment. I don't know how many times I've made a small field hospital with a dead squad's kits. Nothing better than finding a dead support, throwing down his crate, taking three dead medic's kits, and going to town with nades and rockets!

You heal faster when you're holding a medkit as opposed to throwing in on the ground.

Stuck behind enemy lines and hurt? Don't throw your medkit! Your character will yell something and possibly give away your position.

Don't like Russian? Too bad! Keep the sound settings as is, or you'll think everyone is EU and possibly mistake that flanker about to throw a frag at your squad as being a friendly!

Learn to use nades: Think you're not close enough to hit that squad with a nade? Think again. Right-click and hold, and you can throw your nades a bit further. Just be careful to hold down the click, otherwise you might become Mr. TKer.

I learned about the multiple pack thing awhile ago, but I stopped doing it. That and when you throw one down a symbol appears, giving you away.

I got knifed a while back because of that. I didn't pick up a kit, I got revived and the kit I got revived with was assault but the voss was on semi. A guy came around the corner and I depressed my mouse button thinking I was going to empty the whole clip into his chest only to find out that I did a single shot and then he knifed me

I used to make field hospitals a lot on pub servers! Not too much point on TG as we move about a lot. It is nice to use their equipment against them though.

Also if a support guy comes close and drops an IDS that will stay "live" for a long time. If you snag his kit and re-supply the IDS and drop it for your team, it disappears for theirs as the kit can only allow one IDS! Saves your team being constantly "painted" and turns their advantage to yours! It shouldn't take too long to do and once you drop the ammo box and turret, you can switch back to your own kit! Stengthen you team and weaken theirs.
