    Weak point on the APC?

As we all know, tanks and walkers both have a sweet spot where you can take them out with a single shot. However I have yet to find this location on the APC. I was looking for one the other day taking various pot shots but the most damage I could do was about 54% I believe.

The APC as in its role not only as anti infantry platform but especially in the role of transporting troops quickly into enemy territory is not only well armored on the sides but also in the back.

So it has no actual "weak" spot. Only weaker armored sides and back.

A weak spot on the APC would be really annoying! I think it goes down quite quickly at is it. Just remember to place mines in places where it will come out and strike the APC from the side if possible, as it can get away with it at the front.

Oh, and don't let the APC see you fire at it..

What they said--hit it on the sides, if possible.

Or get underneath it...but that's really difficult to do. It has a pretty soft underbelly if you can get to it.

The back works well but it won't kill the apc instantly. If anti-tank rounds could kill apc's instantly, no one would use them for transport

The most damage you can deal to it is 66%, but the spot where you can deal so much damage is rather hard to hit and I doubt it's really worth the try:

Also, here are the front hitzones, maybe you are interested in them too:

On vehicle maps with lots of engies just hit it anyway you can. All damage is good and will add up. Remember this though...sometimes it's better to take out the supply crate rather than the APC. It makes everyones life easier.

I try to hit the sides at all times if I can't get the back. It's fun to Pilum snipe the engy standing there repairing from the side....tut tut tut!

It seems like i always do more damage when i shoot the wheels, are the wheels the same as the sides for armor?

Re: Weak point on the APC?

Yes, but be careful firing at the wheels. Often the game will utterly fail to register a hit on the wheels. (You'll get the hit indicator, but the vehicle takes negligible or no damage.)

EDIT: I just remembered that the walker has a similar deal. When firing on a walker with a tank, about half the time if you manage to arc a shot so that it hits it in a corner, ie, it's upper body corners, or the area where the guns are, etc.. it will not actually do any damage. Many a time I have gotten a hit indicator, and been puzzled beyond words at the fact that the walker took no damage. The collision system is really buggy. T-T

Could a possible hit to the top of the apc give a little more damage? That would sound logical to me, but it would be difficult unless you were elevated.
