Rule question about motion mines
So well.. i found myself using motion mines for the purpose to kill infantry a couple times ( actually a got bored because there where no armor to shoot at and i wanted to be of use ).
If your running around the battlefield you look for APMs and RDX but most of the time your ignoring the motion mines. And because of that i used them in combination with the motion mine bait as some sort of grenade to kill infantry behind cover.
My question is actually.. is that against the rules? I mean it is an AA weapon used for the purpose to kill infantry ( no matter the effective )
or is that falling under the " realistic use " ?

Re: Rule question about motion mines
I...guess you could, but, really, why? There seem to be so many better options around. Its the same thing as wasting your AT weapons against infantry. I suppose it works, until that walker comes by and you don't have any mines out because you were messing around with them.

Re: Rule question about motion mines
Actually, that would be a pretty cool idea.
Maybe all TG squads should have an engi with a pilum/sudnik/whatever to permakill all critically wounded enemy bodies!

The why is pretty easy to answer. i had a supply box a couple meters away so if some tanks or whatever would have shown up i still had mines to use them and i suck pretty much at shooting with the gun of the engineer. i got bored and just thought about giving it a try because you don´t expect motion mines coming over you if your not in a vehicle
