Re: Taking the Blunt: Conquest Tactic
Though there are some other flags on different maps effective to seal off enemy armour routes as well it is indeed of limited use towards experienced TG squads. "Annoying" armour is kinda lightly named when they are chewing on Pilum and Rorsh rounds. They'll go boom which means less pressure on your friends.

Re: Taking the Blunt: Conquest Tactic
Regardless of which map you are on, you're going to be taking the brunt of the attack depending on how you play it. Really though, commanders are key in coordinating diversions, ordering one squad to flank while the other acts as a diversion. Again, I find myself going back to a Titan Minsk round where the CO, Dr.Proctor, asked my squad to hold the enemy on the titan whilst the rest of the team capped silos. This proved very effective, and we ended up winning the round through a comeback. (Both Titans had no life left, only a sliver of health remained).
Just a heads up to COs. My squad is always ready to take a blunt...Err I mean take up the brunt of the attack if needed.Last edited by Adaxa; 01-28-2009 at 11:55 AM.
